There are different types of membership levels, all memberships come with a Subscription to our quarterly newsletter Jazz & Blues Notes as well as other membership benefits.

Membership Meetings
All JSJBF Members and prospective members are welcome!
If you want JSJBF to know WHO YOU ARE and that you're looking for work, this is the best way you can make your availability and skills known. You also can network with other artists and potentially venue owners that can help you out. This is one of the single most important things you can do to market your group (and you can have a great night out)!
Meetings are scheduled for the third Wednesday of the month.

This month we're gonna have fun -- it's the Blackberry Blues Band!
THE BLACKBERRY BLUES BAND, founded by bassist DAVID MEYERS and guitarist PAUL DICKLER, is generally considered one of the seminal bands and influences of what has become known as the sound of Asbury Park.
DAVID MEYERS (Bass, Vocals) is the recipient of the Asbury Park Press "Best Monmouth County Bassist" award. He is a well known Jersey blues musician and is a continual influence on the local music and Jersey shore music scene. DAVID has played with CORKY LAING, SOUTHSIDE JOHNNY and the ASBURY JUKES, and still plays with STRINGBEAN and the STALKERS, and SONNY KENN. He is currently a recording artist with Bluesleaf Records.
PAUL DICKLER (Guitar, Slide Guitar, Vocals) is the author of "Bottlenecking and Blues Guitar" He has played with CORKY LAING, SOUTHSIDE JOHNNY and the ASBURY JUKES, DON COVAY, and many others. Paul's style of blues and slide guitar continues to excite and amaze audiences wherever he plays. SOUTHSIDE JOHNNY says: "He's one of the best" and everyone who has heard PAUL play agrees.
DAVID and PAUL began as a duo then added other musicians including SOUTHSIDE JOHNNY LYON, KENNY "POPEYE" PENTIFELLO, and LITTLE STEVEN VAN ZANDT among others. That band eventually became SOUTHSIDE JOHNNY and the ASBURY JUKES. Soon after DAVID and PAUL left to reform THE BLACKBERRY BLUES BAND adding long time friends BRUCE STEWART and GEORGE MEYER.... read more on their website!
