Born in Brooklyn, NY to a musical family, Alexis P. Suter is the real deal. Her mother was music teacher at Public School 44 as well as an accomplished singer who would have Alexis sing in recitals and Gospel plays while she was young. Though, an idyllic life was not meant to be for this emotional and head strong young lady. Becoming a mother at a very young age, losing family to AIDS, and violence continued to push her to the edge. While overcoming her addiction to drugs at a treatment center in upstate New York, Alexis continued rc drones for sale with the one thing that brought her peace; music and sharing it with others. She started a gospel choir in one facility that traveled to other facilities to uplift others in the same fight. While in treatment, Alexis met a young man that was starting a small record label. This connection led Alexis to the world of underground dance music. Alexis was soon signed to Sony which led to a meeting with Hipbone Records and more dance hits followed.

Alexis has been a staple of underground Garage since the early 90’s and the first African-American woman signed to SONY-EPIC (Japan). Her legendary Club Shelter anthem “Slam Me Baby” distinguished her as a genuine underground star. Maintaining her first love of Gospel music, Alexis’ solos with New York’s acclaimed Total Praise Gospel Choir cross over into her recording and performance eloquence emerging her from the underground to sold out performances. Hipbone Records continue to see the true star potential in Alexis and gave her confidence to go back where she started; in Gospel, Soul and swiss replica watches Blues.

The driven lyrics that fill “Shuga Fix” come from Alexis’ own life experiences. From performances at BB King’s legendary club in New York City and Cartier Replica Watches Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble to nationally syndicated shows such as The Jane Pauley Show (NBC), Alexis connects instantly with the heart and soul of the true urban everyman. Her larger-than-life stage presence radiates with the power of a white-hot super nova to the farthest niche of the performance space.
