A Conversation
With Terraplane Blues

We had only to hear Jason go through his sound check at the festival
when we decided that dealing with a little wind and drizzle would be well
worth it... This show was gonna be something very special!

At the aptly named ‘WOMEN WHO COOK’ program, Red
Bank’s Count Basie Theatre played host to some of the finest female
artists in blues today: Koko Taylor, Janiva Magness, Deanna Bogart and
Jennifer Wright. Wrapping up the fest, the Roxy Perry Blues Band headlined
the Marina Stage on the final day. — by Suzie O’Kane
In My Father's
Footsteps - The Story Of Harry Leahy
Growing up in the Plainfield area, I remember a jazz guitarist
I heard many times. Although I played trumpet, his music spoke to me.
His name was Harry Leahey; musician, educator, and gentleman extraordinaire.
